MSDS headers, sprayed with black ceramic high temp paint, and wrapped. I have not sprayed them with silicone yet.

Luke, I want to know your results. The fact that you've treated the metal to protect it from trapped moisture should eliminate the arguement I keep hearing for not wrapping. I'd like to know if your solution is effective.

The metal has been painted and the header wrap has been coated in high temp silicone to protect it from water collection. I'll snap a pic of the coated wrapped headers soon.

MSDS states that you void the warranty by wrapping them. Wrapping does contain more heat which can fatigue the metal faster, and the wrapping may hold moisture if the get wet and don't have a chance to dry. I bet it's even worse if there is salt on the roads.

Either way, I don't really need to worry about any of that. This car won't get that many miles, it rarely rains here, and we don't salt the roads.
