Just figured I'd give some updates while I'm working on this car. I'm not in a killer rush but I've been tinkering with it.
Before pics this was what it looked like when I got it.

First I worked on straightening the core support so that I could start cutting!
Strap it down!

Pull it out & get it ready for cutting.

As you can see in this pic the radiator core is pretty straight here on the pass side.

now i have to start cutting the bent sections out a piece at a time & rewelding them in. Instead of bolts the new cars use rivets from the factory so you have to drill out the rivets & weld the body panels back together. Now the fun can begin.

Yes I know the fender is dirty this pic shows how close It is to perfect without any adjustment to the fender. I just placed it on & snugged the bolts I'll fine tune it this weekend probably.

I actually pulled the fender out of my scrap pile. its the last t-red one I had & it had the bumper bolt clips pulled out of it but I patched that I think.

The fender had some black overspray on it, I'll get it taken care of soon. This car hasn't been washed properly but it looks ok. I haven't put the jackpoint covers in yet, but I'm only missing one. The hood is slightly popped in the pics & I had a screwdriver in there b/c I stole the headlights & grill from the SE.

I picked it up a few months ago from a CEG'er. I love it. They don't make em anymore & I've been looking for one for a while.

Looks good on the car man. It still keeps the clean look with that hood.
