...to clear up some more misinformation on the web. HMS charges, for a 'normal' trans job ,say quaife, syncros, forks etc etc a labor charge of $250 + parts and return shipping.
The only exceptions to the $250 labor charge are where custom work such as m/c for non stoc parts, gearsets, late shafts in early cases etc is needed. Where m/c is involved the labor charges will go up.
The 250 has been around for some time now.

I had no idea you charged so little for labor.

could you PM me with an estimate for a torsen with 3.08 ratios?

and how does the core work? my gearbox supposedly only has like 60K on it or something, I don't remember for sure. I think I posted it earlier on. I'll be needing one in the fall probably. (september or so if I don't ruin it before then)

What is the average price of parts on your stock tranny rebuild(shift forks,syncros,and what not).I already have a Quaife diff in from when I had my clutch done.
