Today I installed the dash clock I paid $10.00 for on EBAY. The biggest problem was the PATS light which wasn't on the clock. I removed the led with the small circut board from the holder on the original dash plate. I then drilled a hole in the side of the clock plate and inserted the led and circut board into the side of the clock face. Just enough room. The circut board has 2 small plug holes in it for connections. I soldered the ends of 2 small wires to simulate the pins in the holder and making sure to keep the red & black wire where they belong. I then hot glued the board and thin wires to the clock face and glued the wires inplace in the circut board. The rest of the wiring was an easy run to the radio harness where everything you need is close and easy to access.
I also changed the color of the readout to red. I dismantled the clock and overlayed the back side of the led with a red filter.

Here are the results.

Looks very good!! I did the same but only installed the red LED and removed the plastic sheet that gave it that green color.

Looks good, I did mine red as well, but that will soon be changed...

For the pats light, I drilled out the blocked hole where the light would be and then extended the wires. Looks factory (minus the fact that I put in one of the clear-lens LED's) and blends in. Next time I pull the car out of storage to play i'll try to remember to get a pic...

No. When you buy your dash clock, it should ideally come with the harness that clips into the back of the clock. I then wired everything to my aftermarket radio. Power, ground, dimmer. Then I hooked the PATS light back up.

If the clock is missing there is no harness to speak of. Do you need the diagram of the factory clock with PATS?
