I've been posting in my blog about the paint progress, but now since the car is getting close to completion I figured I would make a formal post about the paintwork. It used to be black(and blue with the recon front bumper) now it's all blue ;)

This is directly after wet sanding, compounding and polishing. I haven't glazed the finish yet so there are still some machine marks in the paint.

Enjoy!

Sits lower? Perhaps it settled a bit more over the winter sitting inside the shop, but it looks as low as I remember it last year.

Headlights were replaced last year and I added HID's.. You can see those pics in the gallery link.

not trying to diss on your post.... your rear wheel well looks weird on the inside lip right at the top..... like its flaking, painted over rust, or there's a piece of masking tape on it. could be just the pic

Sherwin Williams paints seem to be great but expensive. I did have good luck with NAPA paints, if you ever want to go with a cheaper one....like that would ever happen. :bleh:
