Hello all at FCO. I'm usually on CEG but I've been sneaking around here for a bit reading up on various things.

Figgured I'd introduce myself to the few members who don't cross much between the two forums.

I've had three tours and currently own two 2k SVTs.

I've owned the first SVT for four years now. 564 is pretty much stock save, for some comfort and repair mods: 98 dash swap, Pre98 center console, stique trails, cougar steering wheel, 5ch amp

576 was purchased with a blown engine, and in a state of disrepair. Been working on it slowly for the past 2 years.
Mods: 05 Full 3L, Msds headers, Bosal cat back, test pipe w/ high flow cat, NPG CAI, Stangkiller LCA, DMD, Torsen LSD, St220 manifold, and more.
Dynod at 191hp, 189torque with stock catback and 05 Taurus intake.

How I picked her up.

Need to take new picks, because shes changed abit in the last year since these were taken.

My old POS 99 stique, zetec/atx. Nothing but trouble since the day I got it. Sold it a few years latter after I purchased 564.

Welcome! Thanks for posting.
I'm one of the few who rarely crosses over to CEG.

Great cars!
The red cleaned-up tour reminds me of OB1's tour.

Yeah I usually stay over there, just the first site I found way back when and kinda stayed with it.

The car back there is a 67 Cougar XR7 289 c4. Been in the family since new, grandfather was the original buyer. Its being tinkerd with here and there.

Becouse the silver car has been reliable as a rock. I didn't want to ruin that by swapping the engine. Besides the red car cost me 1k to buy, then I sold $750 worth of stuff out of it. It would cost me just as much to swap a 3l in the red car as it would the silver. So for the cost of one 3l swap I get two drivable contours.

LOL CEG was also the first site I found when I was looking at buying my current ride. Unfortunately, when I tried to join it took the mods like two weeks to get back to me and their response was to ban me before I ever even got in the door.. to this day I don't understand why. I didn't have alot of time to sit around and wait because the car was a total steal of a deal. Posted Image FCO helped me out right away and I've never looked back. Posted Image All are welcome here. But, as you've probably witnessed recently, immature behavior is not. Posted Image

You should take the Coug out for some pics, I love older cars. Really anything old. Actually, one of my dream rides is the beater that Ace Ventura drives believe it or not! Posted Image Had a baby blue '74 LTD for a while. And a '77 GMC camper-conversion van with a 350 automatic in it. Tan on brown "Screamin' Scooby Van".

You wont get any flamming from me, I'm the silent reader, non poster. I like CEG but like anywhere in the world there are a few jerks that like to ruin it for the rest of us.

Here some pics for ya.

Niiiiiice!! I think older cars have so much more character, and the older the better. They sort of "speak to us" in a way modern cars can't. Crazy proportioning, glaring round fender-mounted headlights, and "look at me" whitewalls.. I love it. I guess I'm a "Brave Little Toaster" kind of person... or.. maybe it's the drugs Posted Image LOL

Anyway, great stuff man. Thanks for posting. Posted Image
