Ford Contour Engine Stalls Engine stalls sometimes as car is slowing

I have a 1998 and a 1999 Ford Contour. they both stall occasionaly when approaching a stop light. This is very dangerous since I loose power brakes during the stall. Both cars have the CNG (LPG) option but the cars are running on GAS. the 1999 LPG source has been plugged (my daughter had someone do that but I don't know what they did) but still exhibits the stalling. Someone told me I should have a dealer re-program the PCMs. Any ideas?

Try cleaning your throttle body.
