I see more and more owners who go to a 3.0 conversions and do nothing to the trans.
This is outright nuts! And don't tell me you wont 'use' the new power of a 3.0...you know damm well you will!..Why blow the MTX75 after all your work on the engine conversion..makes no sense at all.
You should consider a Quaife/Torsen and at least a full inspection of your existing trans...anything else is a major risk. I understand that budget is always an issue but use your head!!..Want to pull that trans after all the work on a 3.0...not smart at all!!

They should also be doing at minimum, a connecting rod + rebalance motor upgrade when they do a 2.5L replacement or 3.0L swap.

Perchance what if you have the ATX? Is the diff upgrade essential also?

never heard of a diff upgrade for the atx. just the torque converter. and the Level 10 units people have used in the past have failed too.
