Hey here are a few links that will help you:

There are several build threads over on NECO and CEG you can browse

Here is a quote from terry about the diff:

I see more and more owners who go to a 3.0 conversions and do nothing to the trans.
This is outright nuts! And don't tell me you wont 'use' the new power of a 3.0...you know damm well you will!..Why blow the MTX75 after all your work on the engine conversion..makes no sense at all.
You should consider a Quaife/Torsen and at least a full inspection of your existing trans...anything else is a major risk. I understand that budget is always an issue but use your head!!..Want to pull that trans after all the work on a 3.0...not smart at all!!

Some people do use the stock diff, but it is a weak link in the transaxle and can be easily busted with the 3L if not driven correctly.

..and in most cases first gear, with the stoc 4.06 final drive ratio becomes useless ,unless you just want to burn rubber. Many go with a 3.8 or 3.5 higher final drive conversion on the MTX75
