Just got the car back from the tuner.

Attached File  img134.pdf   546.26K   52 downloads

214wHP and 213wTQ

Specs:
-05' Sable engine
-MSDS headers
-Optimized y-pipe
-Magnaflow highflow catalytic converter
-Trubendz 2.5" catback
-3.5" feed tube with 6" bell-mouth inlet and high flow filter element
-Returnless fuel system modifications
-Dyno tuned by Andrew at Adrenaline Automotive in Frederick, MD

Overall the car runs great. Drivability is excellent and the car pulls like a freight train from 3K up. I'm very pleased with how it has turned out.

Looks great. Too bad you didn't have time to get a comparison run with and without the bellmouth. That may be interesting.

Impressive! Very similar to Dom's before all the work was done.

I didn't think it was worth it considering there is over 11" of straight pipe before the MAF and the feed tube is probably a bit large. It would probably make more of a difference on the shorter tube right before the MAF. I'm just glad to be done with it.

Now that it's tuned and rolling... What's your impression of the COP? The fuel system just plays a part in the overall package, but the COP does add a little different "character" to the motor.

My retune is scheduled for Wednesday 8/24... I'm dumping SCT software completely and getting it custom tuned and flashed with more prodigious software. SCT is too restrictive on the parameters and the base tunes are horrible. So we'll see how this goes.

COP runs fine. There were no ignition issues during tuning and since I've driven it...And I must add that the 'sexy' factor with COP units retained is quite substantial. :D
