A bit of an unsual twist,

I think I have a new first. Shortyman99SVT is installing a new HVAC system in my house. Last evening after completing the coolant piping and return lines he was doing a pressure test and found this new unit had an issue with a schrader valve. After searching his truck and coming up empty in looking for one, the lateness of the hour prevented us from getting one.

While we were discussing schrader valves I learned that while they are basically all the same there are little differences regarding the seals. A ceramic seal is the best type. Well I suddenly had this idea and got out my spare 98 SVT fuel rail. We removed the schrader valve and was surprised to find it was the ceramic type so Shortyman99SVT installed it in the line and now I am reasonably sure that I have the only HVAC system in the country with an SVT part in it.

That's pretty ingenious, I thought it was pretty funny though.
