i have 1999 ford contour. the heater fan was only working on high and then stopped working. i replaced the blower motor resistor which i figured was bad. blower still not working. checked the fuses and replay all looked good. also swapped the reply with another relay to check if bad and still didn't work. how do i determine if blower motor is bad? Thanks!

A couple of things to do:
Unplug and remove the fan motor from the housing behind the glove box. Then take a couple of leads and touch the terminals. Brace the motor bfore doing this as there is a lot of torque.

If the motor is good then there is a good chance that it is the fan switch on the dash, or its connector. Both are known to fail.

Pull the panel for the fan switch and inspect the wiring connector and harness for melting.
