Is this the same as the Mondeo? Except for diesel motors,of course. damn EPA.

It looks exactly like the Mondeo 2013, it's not really a surprise since it was planned that the Mondeo, Taurus and Fusion (at least those I remember) will be sharing the same platform.

Mondeo and Fusion are finally on the same platform. Fusion is finally off of the Mazda 6 platform, and Taurus isn't on any platform related to the current or old Fusion. It is still riding on a modified S80 Volvo platform.
