Inside or outside handle? I've never come across anything "bending" before... That's new.

Remove the inside door panel. There is a rubber plug covering one access hole for the screw. Remove that plug, and detach the rod keepers from the ends of the lock and handle rods. Remove the 2 8mm bolts that hold the handle bezel. Remove the bezel from the outside. The handle is attached to a plastic carrier that is a part of the latch assy.

Normally removing the latch will come out through the access panel (covered by the foam insulation). Make sure the window glass is all the way up, otherwise it'll be impossible to remove the screws and handle.
