What kind of recommendations do everyone have for brake pads and rotors? I usually stick with oem most of the time, but also like to explore a quality performance street pad/rotor combo. There's just so many options. I would like something that has decent cold bite and it's like some race pad that doesn't do anything cold haha. Please show me the light.

Personally I went with a full set of centric slotted rotors. I live in Alaska so I wanted to stay away from slotted/drilled because I've heard that I would be at more risk of cracking a rotor due to extreme cold. I may be wrong and wouldn't have anything to worry about, I just like the safer side. Now, I paired my well priced rotors with a set of EBC red stuff brake pads and I have to say I'm quite impressed. I can bring up some pics of what mine look like if you want

That would be great. I had some green stuff ebc pads and liked them. Are the red more of a race compound? I just want something with decent cold bite.

You could say that. They are a ceramic kevlar compound. And personally i think they are worth it.

EBC reds are street/track oriented. They don't have the initial bite of the green pads, but once they get a little heat in them, they work very well. The green pads are best for your average daily driver. If you do alot of highway driving, the red pads are a poor choice because they won't be able to slow the vehicle down as quickly in an emergency (ie avoiding wildlife at 70mph). The red pads are good for inner city traffic though.
