just a quick question will a 1999 svt harness fit a98 svt got a good deal one and if not why or can i make it fit

A 99 harness will work as long as it's return fuel system. Also, did you get the complete engine harness (i.e. from strut tower to PCM) or just the engine harness that ends at the valve cover?

i got it from pcm to strut i was told it wouldnt work mine went to poof as we all know they do just double checking

Dom i saw in a post u hade that u indeed installed a 99 harness in a 98 svt how did u get around the PAT OR WHAT DO I NEED TO MODIFY

I have a visual aid at the shop I'll get a pic of and post tomorrow. You have to pull apart the 40 way connector (engine side - drivers side strut tower) and cut two wires and connect them together. That's it.

ive seen it talked bout on her but has anyone else done this with a wiring harness in need of it bad my csvt looks so said what do i do to the 99 to make it work for my 98 any help is great

On the engine harness end of the 40 way connector at the drivers front strut tower you will need to remove the end, plastic cap and pull back some of the sheathing (electrical tape) around the wires. You are looking for one black/yellow wire and one yellow/red wire. Here's a quick pic of the correct end of the harness.
