I removed the 2.5L fuel injectors and all 6 electrical fastening / hold-down clips snaped off. Same thing happened on my 3.0L Escape. Is there a concern here that the electrical connectors will work loose? Is there a technique to keep them in place?
The Contour 2.5L has 1k miles with no noticeable problem yet.

...the wire clips on the injector plugs only have to be pushed in to remove the plugs, they are not fully removed from the plug to unlock it...

The newer plastic clips tend to snap off, I see that all the time. Normally what I do is take 2 wire ties and wrap both ends of the electrical connectors to the rail itself.

Thanks for the motivation Dom. I tied down the 3.0L clips thru the connector hold-down slot then down and around the injector. I'll do someting similar to the the Contour next time I'm down there or I suspect a problem developing.
