I was going through the info stickies and reading the one with timing chain intervals and it has the 2.5L listed as 60K miles. Is that right? My wife's Volvo's interval is 75K for a belt, and I would assume a chain would last longer.

Maybe if you were reading the timing belt change intervals say on a Ford Probe 2.5L V6 - Maybe. The chains in a Ford Contour/Mercury Mystique and Mercury Cougar 2.5L V6 and 3.0L V6(swaps) are not a maintenance item and are designed to last the life of the engine under normal conditions. The 4 cylinder Zetec engine has a belt and the interval is around 60-90K depending on specific year.
