To current and future customers for Custom Camshafts...
Please Note:
A. The camshafts are being ground by a dealer in Canada B.C. These are going outside our borders and are subject to customs delays.
B. Shipping time to and from itself with no work, round trip is 10 working days. This accounts for time in customs and brokerage.
C. Normal lead time for the camshafts is 3-5 weeks - Do not plan on installing these 2 weeks after ordering as that would be illogical!
Now that we have that out of the way, there is one more note:
There is a current QC delay on the camshaft orders. We have discovered a possible issue with the grind that could be just a one off issue but the vendor is stopping deliveries until this problem is checked and corrected. Do not take this as a problem, but an assurance that neither the vendor nor I want to put out a subpar product and have customers with issues after the sale. I take pride in what I do and sell, and would expect nothing less from my vendor. I appreciate the patience (1 week) while this issue is looked into and verified. Once the issue is verified we will be back to full swing on order deliveries.
Thanks, and any questions please ask here or PM.

Google Page Speed Service
17 March 2012 - 06:30 PM
I'm always looking at new Google tools... And it appears that Google has a tool that can cache DNS and make the site load faster.
Now since I have setup my server, loaded all the modules and tweaked them to my liking for speed and efficiency I decided to do a test. They offer a test at http://www.webpagetest.org.
I ran this against FCO today. Here's the results:
pagetest.jpg 213.42K
5 downloads
It seems I wouldn't benefit much from this service (or cloudflare for that matter) as this site is scripted good and the server backend is working efficiently.
Anyone else with thoughts?

New Features...
29 February 2012 - 08:37 PM
I'm in the process of adding new features and other requests, if you look around you'll see different things that are cool for a group to have.
Member map is one, look above in the menu bar and set your location! Plus you can see where others are coming from and how diverse our membership truly is.
More to come.
