First vehicle: '54 Ford F-100, cherried it out with my dad. Woody Long (RIP) made the body as smooth as a baby's bottom using nothing more than lead filler - you know, old school. Sweet ride for a 16 yr old. Then had an Opel Manta (don't ask - but I did wax a Chevy Monte Carlo through the twisties once - 'course he must've been drunk 'cause he threw beer cans at me once we got onto the highway). Then on to a Saab 99, then a base Toyota Celica that I customized (broke enthusiasts do stupid things sometimes - LOL). On to an RX-7 (first generation) with a Holly 4-barrel and headers. This thing screamed till my oil light broke (didn't know it) and torched it. Then I got all jiggy and had AVS in Wa. State build me a Stage 2 '86 Audi Coupe GT - Boge, Eibach, the works. My friend bought this one and is still driving it (I got tired of trying to find quality parts - can any other SVT owner relate?). Meanwhile, my dad and I went in on a '73 Porsche 914 with the appearance group. Slow but one of the best neutral handling cars you'll find (hard to beat mid-engine). Then on to a '95 Eclipse GSX, again lowered, lightened flywheel, wheels, tires, custom-coated interior bits. Sold it to get a "family car" once the kids started coming, so I bought an '04 WRX, uppipe, lowered again, stereo, etc. Now that's my idea of a family car! Then sold this to my other friend (I needed the money) and now it's on to the SVT. I also enjoy my '59 Dune Buggy with a very rare low profile one piece body very similar to the "Ocelot".
