I actually have a reader It's just throwing P0420 and p0430. But it has had that code for a long time. I took it in to have the Oxygen sensor changed and they said they couldn't get to it or it wouldn't come out,Something like that. I had wondered if maybe it could be a ground issue but wasn't for sure. It is very likely if it is near the bottom of the car it is corroded. My car is rusting really bad all along the bottom of the car. So i need to check that out. I'm adding a pic,is this where you're talking about the ground is at? Sorry it took me so long to get back i never got email that someone had replied.

Hello, I've been having issues with my fuel system. It started with the car intermittently sputtering acting like it wanted to die, but usually I could just give it gas and it would work itself out and go. Then one day that didn't work and it died and would not restart. It gave me code P1237 "if I'm not mistaken" . It had something to do with the Fuel Pump Driver Module or bad fuel pump. So I changed the Fuel Pump Driver Module and it didn't fix it. So I took that back and got a new fuel pump and it runs. But it is doing that stupid intermittent sputtering and it even died on me one day. After awhile of turning it off and on it straightened out and ran. Something I've noticed when I turn off the car I can hear bubbles or gurgling in the fuel tank. Is this a sign of an air leak in my lines? Because that is what it reminds me of when it does it,Like when you get air in your brakes and you bleed them. Or can this be normal? I'm really at a loss, last time I took it in the mechanic said he cleaned something and that ought to have fixed it but it didn't. And to be truthful I don't have the money to take it back so it's on me to figure something out. Thanks in advance for your help. Jillian

When we had to replace the hose it was because it was cracked. If i'm not mistaken. That was the only time i had any trouble with the hose. And she ran like a champ. The same thing when we replaced the EGR Valve. So i don't know.... Sorry i haven't gotten the code for you , My health isn't the best and have had a lot of Doc apt's been very busy/sick.

Sorry iv been sick so haven't been able to respond. This isn't the first round with this. I don't have the code but i'll get it. The first time i took it in,their was a little hose that had come off. replaced it she ran like new. Then a while after that we had to replace the EGR valve itself. Now it being a year or two later here we are again,and this is what i'm being told. Like i said i don't have the code but i will get them as fast as i can and post them. Thanks Jill

It's a V6 2.5 I took it in to be worked on and that is what they said was throwing the code. when they tried to take it off they were worried that is was going to break, and since i can't just run out and get a new one we had better wait till i can get one to replace it.

Hello all, I'm in need of a new ERG Valve Tube,but I can not find it new or used. So was wondering is there a car still being produced that would interchange with that part? I have found one used but they don't want to take it off the engine. I'm kinda desperate to find a solution. I can't take my old one off to clean it. Thanks for the help,Jill

The manual seat recliner assembly has come out from the seat. I have tried every which way to get it go back in. If anyone could help me out and tell me how to get it back in would be very grateful. It looks like it should just screw back in but it doesn't. So sick of every time someone gets in my car they want to lean the seat forward or backwards and I have to stop the car get out and go fix it I am attaching pic's for yo to see what im talking about.

Sorry it took so long to get back life threw me a curve ball. I havent hear any hissing noses the only code it was throwing last time I checked was O2 censor. It hasn't been running great for a while but not this bad this was kinda sudden and the other day when I started it ,It made the worst sound I have ever heard at first I thought my engine had just went one me.But after she started and got going sounded fine. Hopefully I can get some money saved up soon and get her to the doctor. Thanks Jill

Hello all, I just wanted to update this post so that if anyone else has this problem maybe it could help. The problem was due to a short in one of my back speakers. I'm guessing the previous owner had changed out all the speakers and when the put the new ones in they didn't mount them right so it had fallen out of its whole and was hitting the metal in the door.

Hello, I Have a 99 contour and it's not been running good lately, Power not as good as it used to , rough idle and some chatter from the valves. So the other day I checked the oil to make sure that it wasn't low and noticed that it smelled like gas. It was not an overwhelming smell but i could smell it. So my question is what would cause this? I do have a small oil leak on the back of the motor but the guy that works on my car said that it would cost more to fix then the car was worth and that I should not fix it ,and that it wasn't that bad of a leak to begin with. Thanks for any help.

Yeah i thought it was the Head, but bought a brand new one its doing the same thing. I rewired everything from the head to the car. I guess ill have to take the door's apart and see if maybe something in there is amiss. I don't know i have never seen anything like this before. At least now I know I don't have Premium sound Thank for your help.

Well one is grey but its not really small or square its more rectangle.I attached a photo for you to see what im talking about. The one's in the car are the same corresponding colors. The black one is for the speaker. The grey one is for power,ground,dimmer,ect
