Ok I asked and explained my problem before I bought a 98 contour sport it was a mechanic special but it started and ran to get home but was rough from take off but smoothed out till just about home then it began really running rough and back firing now won't start its getting spark because well starter fluid caught fire but engine didn't start plus used screw driver to metal and saw spark been told seals and fuel pump and something about a crank sensor also my oil smells of gas and the coolant tank does too any help is appreciated

The sparks good tries to start but half to give it gas when its starting it will sputter then die any ideas as to cause any and all advice would be appreciated thanks

Well the guy who sold me this 98 said it ran a lil rough got it to start for me I made it home like 15 miles and now won't start turns over the engine pops any idea what I'm looking at as a problem need help waws hoping for car to make to work and support my family so any suggestions on possibilities would be greatly appreciated
