This is the tech inspection form needed for street/track cars "performance driving" the road course I visit . It's the simplest way to go fast without expensive safety equipment and mods. Just a helmet and a safe car.

Racing requires equipment and mods specific to each class, series, track... You need to know how and where you intend to race and get the safety regs for that event. The racing series 24 Hours of Lemons is a lot of fun for an old beater. The rules are here.

Mystic chrome is still a favorite. The color shifting OEM color on the early New Beetle was very cool too (purple/pink)

SVT rear discs are not model specific. Any Contique/Cougar with rear discs can be a donor.

I've got a couple.

Fuel pump isn't too difficult, but you'll need some tin snips and not be afraid of cutting some sheet metal. Lemme find you a link....

Here it is. I followed Dom's instructions. I was only able to find tan sealer locally, but who cares about the color when it's covered by the seat. The job didn't take very long either. Make sure the battery is disconnected first.
