  1. Hello, I recently got a Check Engine Light after going over a ton of bumbs on a dirt road, so I went up to Autozone and had the code read. It was a P0133 O2 Sensor slow response (bank 1, sensor 1) I had them clear the code. Does this mean the O2 sensor is going bad and it needs to be replaced or is there something else going wrong with the emissions system? (Sometimes these things can mean other things. ie, egr flow, throttle body etc) Just checking to see ... Thanks for the help in advance.

  3. Fixed. I went through all the electrical test and found that the switches were fine and the resistor was too. After taking the blower out and testing it with a 12v current I found that it was not turning well even with direct current. Blower motor was going ... Replaced and checked and it works great. Thanks for all the help. Without this website I probably would not know where to even start in finding out what was wrong. :bowdown2:
  4. Thanks Dom, I checked the resistor switch at the blower (from the recall info you have listed here on the site), but it's not the switch that has a screw near or attached to the clip and the wiring under there looks great. I will remove the HVAC panel tomorrow and see whats going on behind there. If it is not the wiring or the resistor switch could it be the actual blower motor? Thanx again. Now it does not work at all. I can hear the switch change vacuums to defrost, the vent, to floor but nothing from the blower. The car has 92000, Whats the limit for the recall?
  5. When I turn my control switch to any setting the blower motor does not come on. I can here it start moving a little but will not blow at any force. All the fuses are ok what could this be a blown blower motor or something else? :notworkin
  6. Your right I most likely have a leak somewhere. I went to add more and what I put in yesterday was already gone. So I used what I had left and brought the pressure back up to 25 psi engaged and it was cooling again. but I think the leak will deplete that. I can't see a leak anywhere but will have to look at every part of the system. Thanks for your help. I will post what I find.
  7. Thanks, I will go ahead and do that today and see if it helps. It was in the shop last fall and has not worked since. When they did the wires and distribitor they could of drain the system and did not recharge. Thanx
  8. Hello, I have a question regarding my air conditioning compressor and clutch. When I turn on the car and set the A/C to MAX the clutch cycles on and off every 3 seconds. When I hooked a gauge up to it ,it says it's at 44 psi. But when the clutch engages it drops to below 20 psi then back up to 44-45 when it goes off. Do I need to take the pressure on the low side up to between 35-45 when the clutch is engaged?? Don't want to over load the system. The air inside the car is warm with the current pressure. 96, 2.5 v6 contour. Any help would be great!
