About Me
Hi Everyone,
I love my Contour. It had 10,500 miles on it when I drove it up from Florida to Connecticut. I put 4 new tires on it and replaced the alternator before the trip . The car is really loaded including 10 way drivers seat. The worst thing about the car is the BAD airliner seat upholstery.
Since I got this car it has been nothing but fun to drive. I was a little scared to drive it up from florida, The car was 10 years old and was never on the highway. It was used by my mother to drive to the beauty parlor once a week. She never went over 30 MPH.
I drove the car for some short trips around town and some limited highway trips during the week i stayed there. After all the planning I did for the return trip the only thing that needed to be done on the ride home was to change the wiper blades. It rained frorm north carolina to new jersey. (wipers are always fine as long as it isn't raining)
I still love the way this things handles and how quick it can be.
The last vehicle I owned was a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It had 130,000 miles on it when I sold it and the car looked and ran like a new car.
Well it's March and the weather is starting to get warm. The Contour has been great and has almost 15,000 miles on it now.
My windsheild got rocked during the winter and I had it replaced. The installer did a really clean and perfect job.
The next job is to install the seat heater in the drivers seat. Kind of funny thing to do in the warm weather but it was too cold to do it when it would have done the most good.
Keep you posted, Paul
