Found out part needed is Pats module. only used in 98 contour. anyone heard of this?

I have always thought that auto manufacturers are required by law to have

parts available for any models they sold for a period of 10 years.

Wow ... such an old post. Any resolution on this? I am learning the Tucson area shops and many are crap. Fuel pump can always be hard wired, 12 volts to the start side of the relay and then 12 volts to the run side. Always put a normally open oil pressure switch in series with the run side as a safety. All this takes an after noon and about $ 30.00.
