Controls Mock-up

Gar

Okay, my wooden framework is crappy looking, but I've pretty much finished the seat install job, and begun dealing with peddles, column, and shifter positions. With the special vented discs I'm using up front, and the stock T-bird rear calipers, I needed to use aftermarket calipers in front, along with master cylinders to have all the proportions right. The pedals are Wilwood along with the front calipers. My front spindles end up very unique. After moving the tie rod end mount, I will now be fabricating a caliper mount that will be welded on. The stock caliper mount gets ground down to a nub like a re-capped tooth to accept the new steel plate for the Wilwood caliper. You can see I'm re-using the Contour rack and column, particularly for cheap, as well as all the electronics that will come from the donor car.

Next will be neat looking SS exhaust. I have a plan, and have started cutting pieces, but I'm waiting to pick up SS welding wire and the Magnaflow 14210s for another pay cycle or two.
