  4. yup! i used them. good professional shop. if you want a good tune you gotta keep payin that hourly rate! i actually got the PRP software myself and took multiple dyno tuning classes and do my own tuning now. not only on our platform either

  10. i have some very specific questions in two separate areas.. ive been reading a lot on motor oil additives and how zinc and molybdenum are anti wear items. so i read you shouldnt have more then 1800ppm of zddp or else it would start eating metals. nothing about moly though... but how does does moly effect engine components? would it hurt to add more moly? most motor oil already has some moly in it but is more bad? all that research got me to thinking about my transmission.. when i "rebuilt" mine, i took 2 trannys apart and used only the best parts from both to put 1 together, includ

  12. i dont remember but i could find out. but i wouldnt use it. it sounds terrible! lol. i switched to my single now. its because of the true dual. it needs to connect into a single pipe either before the muffler or after to make the sounds resonate better.

  15. ive been here for a while. been on ceg and neco forever too. decided to post my ride up here. i have a 1999 cougar, ive been building it for 4 years, until i totalled it into a ditch at 70 last december. so i decided to buy a shell and swap all my parts over plus more. basically my brand new coilovers were completly shot. i had probably less then 300 miles on them, so i basically had to buy all my suspension components twice. i decided to put a shiz ton more money into it since im swapping everything to my new shell so heres my current mods list. the new cougar is also the same exact c
  16. i have konis in the front and putting spax in the rear. im running ground controls at 600lb front spring and 400 rear. felt really good before on all 4 konis. cant wait to try the spax, i think i like them more now because of the hex head adjuster knob

  18. yep those things are a pita. iv done it about 3 times now. and the last time while i was pressing in my new bearing the old race cracked the outer race of the new bearing when it was 75% installed. man i was not happy. but at least autozone replaced the "defective" Part with a brand new kit. so it look an extra 2 hours to get the job done
  19. where can i buy the pinion gear for the 3.8 FD? (early style shaft) i cannot find one anywhere and ford couldnt find out either. from someone with a used focus tranny?
