  1. i run 0w20 in the CSVT and Ive had it in my 2010 Ranger since new. I also use the synchromesh in my trans, their brake fluid, and I run their 2-cycle mix in all my lawn equipment.
  2. pre-order tickets are $20 for the day, they go up to $30 on race day. Its worth the money, Ive been going to this race for the past 4 years.
  3. I usually meet up with a group of guys at Sheetz on 18/94 and back road it the whole way. Id have to leave my house before 6 to make it to your shop at 7
  4. Ill have to check that site out........I need to pick up a helmet
  5. actually someone did use the mondeo morettes now that I think about it. Qwik98svt might have been his name???? He was from the Columbus Ohio area IIRC. Header panel was an issue as well as the fenders from what I remember
  6. yes, true morettes for the contour not the mondeo. Those are a 1 off set of headlights made by morette, they were going to be used as a prototype to build lights for the contour but nothing ever came of it.
  7. Im using the EBC slotted and dimpled rotors up front and the EBC slotted rear rotors with EBC Greenstuff pads. When I installed those I put on rebuilt calipers all around, braided brake lines, and Amsoil brake fuid. I only have about 2500 miles on them, but so far so good! EBC rotors are not cheap though, and they took a couple weeks to get from Summit Racing
  8. Nice work Dom!!! I really wanted to make it out to this show
  9. I wouldnt worry about the mileage really, Im at 161k and still running strong. To check the secondaries....you can see the linkage for them under the throttle body, you should see that liknage move when the engine is revv'd to 3750RPM
  10. Sounds like a decent deal to me, how many miles are on it? IMRC could be bad, the linkage clip could be broken, or possibly even a TON of carbon build up is causing the secondaries to not close. I wouldnt consider any of those a hard fix though.
  11. MY girlfriends brother was 22 when he finally got his license, and 25 when he finally got a car. Hes 27 now. I have a cousin who will be 18 in October, hasnt taken drivers ed, and has no desire to drive at all. The day I turned 15.5 I got my temps and was begging my parents to drive every chance I got!
  12. yes, or you can try tousley ford in MN they also have very good prices
  13. did you try my clay bar trick?
  14. appears to be in pretty good shape, nice pick up Billy!
  15. NEVER admit to watching Tokyo Drift!
  16. I have been running Amsoil Synchro Mesh for a few years now.....is the MTG new?
  17. This is a good question! I have been wondering the same thing myself. I agree that the h-pipe may not give an accurate reading, but only getting data from 1 bank doesnt give you much to go by either. The only option I see is running a wideband on both banks, but I dont think thats worth the money. Im interested to see what people have to say.....
  18. Besides the Saleen this is the only one I can think of.... http://www.flickr.com/photos/20983802@N06/ He is located in the Sacramento, CA area. His CEG user name is nyceboi though Im not sure how often he is on the forums.
  19. Kimber 1911 .45, nice gun! My buddy has one, first gun I ever fired ....funny story too :)
  20. I just put one on Thursday and hit the track Friday. I'm not sure yet if I like it or not.....I should have brought my P&P SVT one with and swapped it out to compare. I was told I would notice more high rpm pull, to me it felt like from the low side to about 3.5k rpm's it was pulling harder. I also broke a weld on my exhaust during my first run, so the car obviously wasn't running good with a massive exhaust leak. My mods are 75mm maf (put stock maf sensor in the housing), kkm intake, bat intake pipe, max extrude hone UIM, 2000 LIM, msds headers into stock y-pipe/exhaust (no resonator), and the 65mm TB. Let me get some more miles on it and report back. On a positive note I had so much wheel hop on my last run my backlight for the dash clock started working again LOL!
  21. You don't need coilovers, a decent set of springs/struts will do just fine. B&G, koni, and eibach should get you an inch or more. I don't think the BAT is going to lower you that much. Car looks great! Nice clean t-red B) Do you have any better pics of the wheels? They look pretty nice!!!
