98SVT
There doesn't seem to be any instructions anywhere on how to replace a return type fuel pump - most importantly how to get the fuel lines out of the pump. I've looked at various youtube videos but they haven't been of much help. Specifically, I have gotten the return (white side) line out but on the red side, well, here's a picture. I need to know if I can just rip the line out or if there's a less brutal way to remove it. Thanks.
Pieloux
Please check your in box mail. You should find a photo and a short explanation on how to remove the fuel lines at the fuel pump. Let me know if you have a problem opening the message. Pieloux
francispennysac
They operate like a COmpression fitting, there are two little tabs on each side that must be depressed in order to remove the lines themselves Then and ONLY then will they slide out. you must disengage the little locks.. push IN...then pull out. I did mine a few years back..wasnt too horrible.
