no brake fluid to drivers side brake line

I have a  early 1998 contour svt I am trying to fix. I noticed that my drivers side rear brake is not working. I noticed it after that caliper got on fire during a road trip.   I have replaced the hose and caliper but I noticed that there was no fluid coming out of the bleeder.  I have tried pressure bleeding and vacuum bleeding and still no fluid. I tried the Forscan abs bleed but there was no bleed procedure available. I believe it is because I have the Mecatronic system instead of the newer Bosch system. Surprisingly the other three brakes bleed and function. I confirmed all other brakes bleed normally.  The car brakes normally.  What should I do? Do you guys recommend switching over to the Bosch system to fix this issue?

Just for grins and giggles have you tried to unhook the brake line at the fender where it goes into the hose to the caliper? This can rule out the hose being internally collapsed which can restrict fluid. Otherwise, replacing the hydraulic unit may be the only remedy.

Yes. I took off the brake line beside the gas tank and there was no fluid. I believe you had replied to this same problem years ago.  I tried doing a Forscan abs bleed procedure with the Mecatronic unit and there was no bleed procedure. If I changed this with the later Bosch unit can Forscan do the bleed procedure?

Honestly never required me doing an ABS bleed procedure on the Bosch unit. I never had an issue with air being trapped in it like the newer units on the Edge and Taurus models. Those are no fun to get the air out of and actually require multiple activation and even doing panic reverse stops to bleed the air out of them. Should be pretty straightforward with the Bosch.

Mine was bolted through one of the ABS bracket bolts.

Do you know what that ground was connected to? I believe it was an exhaust ground. I know it was connected to the abs bracket but mine got removed to where it was attached.
