Weve had a heat wave here in Indiana... anyways.. my car will get to the "L" and the fan kicks on like it should and the temp goes down to about the "A" and then starts rising again. Im worried if i get stuck in traffic its gonna overheat on me. When its running this hot on the gauge when i accelerate from a stop im getting detonation. Now, i can turn on the heater, and it really helps get the gauge down quicker to about the "M" but as soon as i turn it off or turn on the a/c the gauge starts back up. I seem to lose power when it starts to get into the "L" otherwise its fine. Is there anything i can do to upgrade the cooling system on this car i.e. dual fans ?

Ive been trying to find my door lock relay. Ive searched about it, and its suppose to be behind my glvoe box or pass. side kick panel. The only relay i found is the ABS relay behind the glove box. anyone know exactly where its at on a 95 contour GL ??

Here is some pics of my 95 Contour GL, 92k miles before and after a lil fixing up... I have some 15" SE wheels gonna put on soon... more to come :) when i first bought it ... After a few mods... tinted windows, Taurus rear spoiler, dual tip exhuast, vent shades, driving lights, lebra, 3M headlight repair, etc..

I installed a new MAF which took care of my CEL and drivibility issues, but, when I first start I have to give it a lil pedal and hold it for a.few seconds to get it to idle. Any ideas ? Runs great other than that.

I was at the JY and ended up getting one off a taurus and mounting it,...

Shortly after driving my car my CEL comes on, I had it checked at autozone and im getting code 157 ( MAF ), i tried cleaning it and no luck. The car has a rough idle at a stop light and sometimes doesnt wanna accelerate properly. I guess i need to replace the MAF ??

Im "looking "for a rear spoiler for my 95 Contour GL, ive been doing some searching and i guess i have to get one for a 98 and below correct ?? Also if anyone has one please hit me up..
