I've been finding a few different opinions on how to exactly test the TPS and they have all been conflicting. Can someone please explain to me the proper way to test it and also how much can a a TPS that isn't adjusted properly affect the overall performance of the car? I ask because the car lacks power above 4000 RPM and I've cleaned the UIM, LIM, throttle body, new plugs, new wires, made sure the imrc is operating OK (replaced resistor with tip 121) and checked fuel pressure which is OK. I'm pulling the y-pipe off this weekend to gut the precats to rule that out which I personally think could be the cause of my problems. Let me know what you guys think or if I missed something?
