Terry Haines Posted September 6, 2011 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Basics..the heavy black led from battery '-' to one top bellhousing bolt...a ligher ground wire from a thraded boss on bellhousing to inner fender...ground wire from EEC processior plug area to passenger side inner fender..ground 'braid' from coil tower to DPFE bracket... graylady Posted September 6, 2011 Author Share Posted September 6, 2011 Thanks - we had 3 out of 4. We missed the lighter ground wire from the top of the bell housing to inner fender. Hopefully that is why she isn't starting. Changed out the harness. We now get the check engine on the dash, but when key is turned to ON - nothing. You can hear the fuel pump prime and thats it. spridget Posted September 13, 2011 Share Posted September 13, 2011 Check engine light on is normal when the ignition is turned on. It should go off once the engine is running.
