CSVT_Tessa Posted May 29, 2014 Share Posted May 29, 2014 Hi all, My belt on my belt tensioner looks/is off. I can see where its moved about a half inch toward the engine. No werid sounds or power loss. Is this something I can push the belt back onto it? or does it need to be replaced. and how hard is replacing the belt tensioner. Thanks! Terry Haines Posted May 31, 2014 Share Posted May 31, 2014 ....be sure the belt is 'on' all of the grooves in the crank pulley and not 'part way' on...if that is OK then an idler or tensioner bearing may be worn causing the belt to 'walk'...
