About Guitarman19853

  1. Someone told me that the stock snorkel is restrictive and that more cold air would flow in just by removing it completely (with an open air filter). I'm confused now. The snorkel is still in place right now.
  2. I had the stock intake with a high flow filter. I have noticed an increase in performance and a major increase in sound Funny in that you're the first person out of maybe 20 or 30 (counting probably 15 contour owners at the Carlisle show where I installed it) that has said that it's a step backwards. Everyone else says its a good mod and an improvement over the stock airbox. Thanks for the comments everyone!
  3. I still dont get what youre telling me to get rid of... If its the Green open filter, I just installed that 2 weeks ago. If its the stock snorkle, then yeah I may be removing that eventually. I also plan to make a heat shield for the intake.
  4. I was out cruising around and stopped to take some pics
  5. Just thought I would share these Contours All other cars Burnout contest Installing my new intake on the show field A taste of whats in the links:
  6. I use Klasse All In One followed by 2 - 3 coats of Klasse Sealant Glaze followed by a coat of Pinnacle Signature Series carnauba.
