Contours are super easy to open yourself. Pull the door trim by the window off. Use a flashlight and and look in the gap. You'll see a metal tab with a rod Attched near the latch. Use a metal rod or something to press down on the tab. You'll hear the door unlock. -
I am swapping the motor out of my SVT into a different body. Is it easier to drop the motor and trans out the bottom or pull it out the top.

sorry the the car the svt motor is going onto is a 99 se sport.

The motor is out of a 98.5 svt and the body is a 2000 se sport.

Howhardis it to swap a svt motor into a car the had a non svt motor in it?

I had the bolt that Terry is talking about shear off a while back and replaced it with a Ford bolt. I also had a diffrent bolt shear off just before Xmas here is a pic. I had to get the pin/bolt from Ford which took about a week. Is it common for the second bolt/pin to shear?
