Does anyone know where I could get a Mirko wrapped in carbon fiber? If everything goes as planned, I should have the mirko this weekend. I would really like to have it wrapped in carbon fiber instead of having it painted to match the body. Depending on how that turns out, I would also like to do the same to the black portion of the back bumper......should look pretty nice with the CF hood and trunk! Does anyone know if this has been done yet?

I bought some yellow fog bulbs off ebay. I just go for the cheap ones since they always seem to burm out in about 3 months. This is my first set of yellow bulbs, They are really yellow too. Its nice to see a difference between the fog's and headlights when your driving in the dark. I would definately buy this style bulb again, maybe you should check them out. I think they are 55watt too.......Ill try to take some pics for you when i get home

Hey Terry This morning when i started up my car and put it in gear I heard a loud pop. Now there seems to be too much play in the shifter when the car is in gear, and it goes into all gears really easy, A LOT easier than before. I lifted up the shifter boot, everything under there looks good. Any idea what, if anything, that i broke? Even when the car is in neutral the shifter moves around VERY easy. I have a steeda short throw, everything else related is stock Thanks Malcolm

oh yeah, just let me know!!! The whole 3 liter swap is something that has drawn my attention for a long time. Personally I would like to keep something from the orginal motor, I want it to still be somewhat of an SVT under the hood. But, an engine swap is WAAAAAAAAY over my head. Replacing the suspension is the biggest project I have done, and that took about 3 days and lots of broken/stripped bolts :) Might have been a little easier if everything wasnt rusted on there.....

yeah, no leak on mine either. i purchased mine off of the CEG classifieds, the post stated that they had 3 left. I waited about 2 months before I decided to inquire on it, and I was told I got the last one. The trunk is much better quality than the hood, and they were purchased from the same company.

GRRRR.......just spent 2 hours cleaning the SVT, now I have to go drive it an hour in the rain :wt-hell:

Only 8, wow!!!! I didnt know that, now I feel special! There is another one around that I see in Cleveland. Its a silver frost with CF hood and trunk. He had the trunk recleared with a silver tint, says it leaks though.

any more news on this Ohio meet? how about we just pick a day and a place????

I have CF hood and trunk, Vogtland springs, KYB Struts, Energy Suspension sway bar bushings, KKM intake, BAT intake pipe, 8mm Wires, Steeda short throw, JVC WMA/MP3 player, Alpine surround, Kicker subs, Soundstream amp, 17 in DRIFZ gun metal 7spoke, and the resonator has been removed.

i was traveling on 77S near the state route 18 exit and saw a pretty sweet white svt and it looked like it had svt focus wheels not sure though we were moving. I was in the t red svt right next to it. looked like a pretty sweet ride makes me think this car should have came in white. well anyways he had a fco sticker on the back window just wanted to say nice car.

I'm pretty new to the contour scene just got a 98 svt in may, anyways every saturday in brunswick oh is a pretty big show im usually the only contour out there and i would like to check out some of the contours cruising around this area. Anyone from around interested get at me for directions usually runs from 4pm- whenever

every saturday in brunswick ohio is a pretty good size car show fills up a shopping plaza parking lot. Everything from new cars to muscle cars and bikes and its free i just got my tour about 6 weeks ago would be great to meet some you guys anyone interested pm or mlloydb@yahoo.com

i was on my way home from a local show, every saturday in brunswick ohio, when i saw a black svt contour creeping up on me in the rearview. Ive got a red 98 svt. once he finally caught up to me we were doing a 110mph like nothing. my buddy was side by side too in a 400hp trans am anyways i smoked and this dude ran side by side with the trans am up to 130mph when we got off the highway. The car had michigan plates and black windows there was also a real tiny red sticker next to the high output emblem on the front. It was too small to read what it said. I was wondering if anyone has seen this car or has this car and what all was done to it cause it was fast as hell. so if anyone from michigan was rolling through ohio two weeks ago on a sat drop me a line i would love to know what you had in that thing

im not too familiar with the buffer or the wet sanding but i have access to one and someone who knows what they are doing. Thanks for the help the whole situation has me pretty pissed off. I just baught it and someone goes and does stupid shiz. I would appreciate some tips or a quick how to. Thanks

i had my svt parked on the street at my buddies house and when i left the drivers side was covered in egg and right above the door handle you can see right where the egg hit. Where the egg hit the car and shattered you can see a bunch of tiny nicks on the door. It appears that these nicks havent gone threw the paint as you can see all the paint under the nicks it just looks like hell. What should i do to make the surface appear smooth again and take care of these blemishes. I had to wash it at like 1 in the morning so i didnt see the total damages until the next day from what i can see the didnt do much damage just where the shell hit door before it broke. I hope i catch those bastards i have only had this car a month. Thanks any help or advice would be appreciated
