  1. I had a contour that did the same thing and I found out that it was the dumbest thing in the world, I.e. the hood light always stayed on even when you closed the hood and it always killed my battery overnight, so check that it might not be it but it is the easiest thing to check first

I was gonna say that but since he said he just wanted to clen up a sugary mess I didn't think he was gonna take it all the way out and on that note I cheated the first time I removed the seats and put them back in I reversed the bolt so I didn't have to fight the seat from underneath to get it back in or out if I ever needed to remove them again
  3. you remove the 2 screws in the plastic trim on the rear bottom of the seat remove the 4 rear bolts 2 on each side then you scoot the seat back and remove the two front bolts 1 on each side using a 10 mm socket
  4. you could also go with unorthodox racing, flywheels and clutches they are reputable company also
  5. That's a good question but were gonna try first but I'm not sure because the motor won't even attempt to crank over

Hey guys since my motor is toast due to extensive water damage I decided on possibly doing a 3l swap so far I heard that since I have a 95 it would be tough but I want to know what motor to get that would be the least difficult swap whether it be 03 taurus or escape and I am al.so wondering what someone would charge to do a set of fuel rails please help

Ok so I took off the UIM and to no suprise about a gallon of water came pouring out of it, so the way I figure it if it's not too hard I will use this to my advantage and maybe do a 3.0 swap, now I know what motor I need, and I want to know how hard this is, as it needs to get done fast since this is my only car, I was wondering if anyone can point me to a link for a 3.0 swap walkthrough because I need to know about the wring and what parts I need to purchase if any since I want to do a straight swap not a hybrid

Alright tonight I ripped off the intake to no suprise every vac hose I pulled dumped water and you can even see some oxidization on the throttle body so does that mean I have to tear off the UIM and what else could I do to try and salvage the motor and get it running again.   10. That's what I was afraid of because I've heard that from four other people if thats what happended what needs to be done I've got to get it back up and running ASAP. Also mid water the rpm's dropped fast from idle to about 150 I gave a little extra gas to get out and the car just died and wouldn't start again

  12. My tour does very well in the snow but beware when its really cold because I made the mistake of putting my ebrake on and had to wait 45 minutes for it to unfreeze
