jovan915 Posted January 5, 2014 Author Share Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) no the original owner (im the second) just left his car sitting and used it only in the city got it at 42,000 rightnow its 82,000 had it for 3 years this past year iv been replacing all the parts that needed it. my mechanic sprayed around the top of the engine with brake fluid we heard a weird noise, right now we here hissing noises, im going to use incents and see if there is a leak before we take the tom part of the engine is there a vacume hose the runs there? Terry Haines Posted January 5, 2014 Share Posted January 5, 2014 ...check the vac hoses that go from 1)intake manifold to vac 'branch' for fuel pres reg etc etc...the small plastic lines tend to get brittle and crack with age 2) vac line from intake manifold to brake booster..easy one to check for leaks.. If you have no vac leak in the vac 'lines' then chances are its the intake manifold gaskets... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
